Privacy
What this site collects.
Short version: a visit counter, nothing else. No ads, no advertising profiles, no selling anything to anyone.
Analytics
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics, but only after you press Accept on the consent banner. Until you do, Google Consent Mode is set to denied for analytics and advertising storage, so no analytics cookies are written.
If you accept, Google Analytics records the usual aggregate things: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, which site referred you, and what kind of device and browser you used. I use it to see which writing people actually read. I do not use it to build advertising audiences, and advertising storage and personalization stay denied either way.
What this site never collects
- No account, login, or newsletter signup exists, so there is nothing to register for.
- No contact form. The contact page is a plain
mailto:link, so email reaches me directly rather than through a form service. - No comments, no third-party embeds, no social tracking pixels, and no fonts loaded from an external CDN.
Local storage
One key, analytics-consent, stores your Accept or Decline choice in your own browser so the banner does not reappear on every page. It never leaves your device. Clearing your site data resets it and the banner returns.

Hosting
The site is a static build hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub serves the files and may keep its own server logs; see the GitHub Privacy Statement for what that covers.
