Bayesian Optimization Specs¶
The BO specification API describes optimization intent, controllable variables, objectives, and output constraints before fitting a surrogate or selecting a concrete acquisition implementation.
matgpr.bayesian_optimization_specs
¶
Reusable Bayesian-optimization intent and search-space specifications.
This module defines JSON-friendly records for describing materials BO problems before a concrete optimizer is selected. The records are intentionally light: they capture objectives, controllable variables, output constraints, and the recommended acquisition-function families without fitting a model.
